Sailboats and Ships

For anyone who wants to sail, there is of course a suitable option. From sailboats for 4–26 people, with or without instruction, or as a mini-cruise, to transatlantic sailing ships for up to 270 people – everything can be organized and booked with us.

For smaller boats meant for self-sailing, local rental companies are usually the best choice, while for sailing yacht trips, providers such as Sailing Classics are a great option. You can find information about the larger ships here

Note: If you plan to sail yourself or assist on board, a good level of physical fitness is strongly recommended.

Houseboats

Explore and enjoy the rivers and lakes on your trip at your own pace, without having to worry about arriving at a hotel on time. The capacity of the boats varies from families to medium-sized travel groups, ranging from 3 to around 30 people. Houseboats are often rented, especially in holiday regions, but some are also available for purchase, allowing you to use them as your primary residence if you wish.

Houseboats are generally rented from local providers.

By the way: In the Mecklenburg Lake District, you don’t even need a boating license to rent a houseboat.

Small Boats

If you want to snorkel, dive, take a short river tour, go fishing, water skiing, or do something similar, a small boat is the right choice. Often, the equipment for the respective activity can be booked additionally, and sometimes it is included in the price. The boats range from 2–3 person fishing boats to catamarans with a capacity of 40 people.

If you don’t have a boating license, guided tours are always available and can be arranged through us. Renting a boat with a captain is rare, but possible.

Canoe/Kayak

With us, you can also organize your paddling holiday. Whether a peaceful lake tour, exploring interesting old towns along the river, or a white-water adventure, everything is possible here. We offer both canoe and kayak rentals as well as guided tours with instructors or guides.

For white-water trips, we can also provide experienced organizers who know even the most exciting routes.
